Shegaon comes alive during several festivals through the year, when devotee footfall is at its highest. If you plan to visit during these days, we strongly recommend booking your room well in advance.

• Prakat Din (Appearance Day): Commemorates the day Shri Gajanan Maharaj first appeared at Shegaon in 1878.
• Ram Navami: Celebrated with great devotion, drawing large crowds.
• Gurupushyamrut Yog: Special auspicious days observed with poojas and darshan.
• Punyatithi (Samadhi Day): The Sanjeevan Samadhi day of Shri Gajanan Maharaj, observed in Bhadrapada.
• Datta Jayanti & Guru Purnima: Observed with special reverence in the Datta tradition.

Tips for a Smooth Darshan

• Arrive early for morning darshan to avoid long queues.
• Carry a valid photo ID for accommodation check-in.
• Keep footwear at designated stands before entering the mandir.
• Maintain silence and discipline inside the temple complex.
• Stay hydrated and take rest at your Bhakta Niwas room between darshan and aarti.
